SNOWBIKE BASE

Moto Base – The act of using a Motorcycle to project from a large enough jump that you are able to safely deploy a parachute for you and the motorcycle.

 

With this new direction and new vision of looking at mountains and free riding terrain, the map just got larger again! Simply take a 50 degree slope that runs out for at least 300 feet and you now have a base jump.

 

As the only person in the world to safely pull off a Snowbike base jump (4 in total) Matechuk will continue to perform these one-of-a-kind spectacles. Learning never stops and base jumping is the perfect example of that. It takes a lot of time, and preparation to do these tasks safely and sustainably, but we are willing to put in the work and stoked to continue to deliver some of the most amazing extreme motosport footage on the planet.
