Rise to fame
Forged from the spirit of fierce competition, Matechuk is no stranger to the pursuit of excellence.
His determination and perseverance leading him to the world stage in 2017, when snow bike racing debuted as the premier motorsport event at the Winter XGames. He would land a podium at this inaugural event in a huge comeback ride that turned heads and won hearts in a never-say-die performance.
With his name in the headlines, he picked up some major support and in the following year, he repaid his Sponsors faith in him with a decisive gold medal win. Over the next two years Matechuk dominated the sport and was soon dubbed the Father of snowbiking.
As the sports world retracted from the tight grip of a global pandemic, Matechuk focused on creating feature film content and diversifying his lifestyle portfolio. This lead to his extensive travels, base jumping and wing suiting from the fjords of Norway to the red sandstone of Utahs. Hiking the jungles of Brazil to race waterfalls plummeting from the rocky ledges or jumping from high rises during sunset in Panama. Where ever adventure can be found, you'll likely find Cody Matechuk in the center of it.
